Knowledge and utilization of instructional media were a crucial part of every teaching and the provision and effective use of instructional media and technology distinguishes a superior school from an inferior one. Currently, the education system had undergone rapid changes. Various new methods were introduced and used. Further, it made teaching more effective and learning is highly significant. Inevitable, the media has been dominating in all aspects of life. Every individual was surrounded by various media such as books, magazines and internet. Other than parent, it was the responsibility of teachers to help their students to become critical consumers when using the variety of media sources.

In evaluating the use of any teaching style, educators will often use Benjamin Bloom’s Taxonomy as a beginning point of planning. The teachers have sought technological means to increase learning. Early literature in this area first looked at whether any technology in the classroom was beneficial.

The most recent definition of Instructional Technology published by the AECT in the book “Instructional technology: the definition and domains of the field” by Seels & Richey (1994).According to this definition “Instructional Technology is the theory and practice of design, development, utilization, management, and evaluation of processes and resources for learning.”(Seels & Richie, 1994, p. 1). Finally, the 2008 definition includes “facilitating learning”. Januszewski & Molenda (2008) contend that this inclusion implies a shift in the concept of instruction. The term “facilitating learning” clarifies the role of the instructional designer as a facilitator of learning rather than a prepare of products for learning. Given this emphasis, the instruction is learner-centered and situational.

Based on the definition of Instructional Technology, we can conclude that basically the teachers should be teach by incorporating the term “Educational” instead of “Instructional” the definition has broadened the scope of the field. Although the domains are no longer mentioned by name, the use of “create, manage, and use” encompass the systematic activities of the former domains. Finally, the definition still holds true to the systematic process but now is allowing for a variety of mindsets and Instructional Systems Design models.

As a teacher, we have to teach our students fluently and clearly. So we should be prepare all thing before entering class. In sylabi was wrote that material developments was did by teacher. So it was helpful if we use instructional technology to make easier our teaching learning process. One of them is utilization instructional media. The role of educational media in teaching and learning is always paramount despite the subject. using educational media materials is better than lengthy explanations. It made teaching and learning easier and more meaningful. Bello [2] posited that using educational media and technology in the teaching and learning process made instruction easier and meaningful.

The consumption of authentic educational technology materials in the form of films showing, radio, TV, and multi-media has been there for a long time. It is factual that these technologies have proved doing well in replacing the traditional teaching methodologies of teachers. Media education is commonly called media literacy education. Its origin has a close relationship with media and technology use in education. Development of technology in education has ability to answer the questions about the impact of technology in reconstructing the education system and the use of technology, in line with learning theory. While, expanded use of computer facilities and other mass media will led to the rapid transfer of information.
